Most of what I do for work is just making sure that the ship continues moving forward. It's quite boring, it's things like: accounting, purchasing, monitoring sales, trademark payments. Not really the kind of thing that keeps me on the edge of my seat.
When I was young, I was diagnosed with ADHD. It took me until I was about 18 to really learn how to get stuff done.
The hack that I came up with when studying for my first complicated exams was simple. Always do 2 things at once. Usually, what I do is have the thing that I am actually working on in one screen on my computer and another activity on a second screen. That second activity has to be stimulating in a different way but can't be too entertaining.

It's very useful for boring things, for activities that I like this is of course not necessary.
